BERLIN ALTERNATIVE FASHION WEEK | BERLIN
Berlin Alternative Fashion Week that aims to showcase the rise of independent designers. It’s a platform that wants to connect genre-breaking innovators with established contemporaries in the fields of fashion, music, and art. Young designers are encouraged to let their artistic energy run wild and turn creative visions into reality on the runway. It is a fashion week that celebrates non-conformity and one which challenges gender roles and restrictive attitudes.
CINEDANS | AMSTERDAM
CINEDANS – Dance on Screen Festival – is an international film festival, whose central focus is on dance film. Cinedans sees the ideal dance film as a true synthesis between the two media of dance and cinematography. At Cinedans the emphasis lies on choreographies created specifically for the camera and on special film adaptations of existing dance performances.

WORKING WITH THE SHADOW | TUSCANY
It was born out of the vision of its founder, Kim Bizzarri, a nomadic activist turned Yogi, who spent the past 10 years coordinating international campaigns & consulting for major environmental NGOs, including Greenpeace, WWF, Friends of the Earth, ActionAid, & many others. The objective behind WORKING WITH THE SHADOW is to begin integrating the political & spiritual realms with a view to achieve social change through an expanded individual & collective consciousness.

EXPERIMENTAL FILM VIRGINIA | VA, USA
Experimental Film Virginia gathers artists from all over the world to convene on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay with a mission to create new short films inspired by the people and places of historic, small-town America. The group of 40-50 artists gather for an intensive two week process, EFV bridges the space of performance between stage, screen and site, bringing artists from multiple disciplinary backgrounds into the film-making process and offering experienced filmmakers the opportunity to make Virginia their home for a two week experimental process that promises to recalibrate and refresh their creative process.
